Loving God,
in a mother’s womb, you formed us;
on a mother‘s knee, you met our needs;
in a mother’s arms, you cradled us;
from a mother’s lips, you taught us;
with a mother’s prayers, you have brought us to faith.
Thank you for the gift of mothering
that has brought us life.
Amen
God, we pray that mums
everywhere would find ways
to connect with you throughout their day.
Give them confidence and
courage to help their
children meet and know you.
Amen.
