BRF Ministries News for May 2026 takes its inspiration from the new edition of Get Messy! which comes out in June. Focusing on the ‘five marks of mission’ identified as key in the Anglican church, these are summarised as tell, teach, tend, transform, and treasure. Chief executive Richard Fisher reflects on these resonant words in his welcome letter:
‘These five marks, or practices, run like seams of gold through all our ministries. We could have illustrated each mark in every ministry, but we had to choose our stories… I find it both humbling and inspiring to hear, almost daily, people’s stories of the myriad ways in which their lives have been touched, and sometimes transformed, by our ministries. The countless people who have heard the good news – many for the first time – as they’ve attended Messy Church. The parents who have discovered through Parenting for Faith that they can now talk – and learn – about faith with their children, in ways they never thought possible. The thousands of older people across the country who have found affirmation and peace through the “ministry of presence” offered by Anna Chaplaincy. I hope you enjoy the stories we share in this issue. There are many, many more.’
