Supporting individual Christian growth
Seeing lives shaped by the Bible, prayer and whole-life discipleship
BRF is passionate about helping Christians go deeper
Since we began in 1922, our vision has been to encourage people to explore and understand the Bible, enjoy a deeper experience of prayer and apply what they learn to their lives day by day. We're passionate about helping people to grow in knowledge, faith and love as they walk each day with Jesus Christ, and we have the privilege of seeing something of the transforming power of God at work in the lives of ordinary people.
One of the best-known passages in the Bible is Jesus' great commission in Matthew 28. His instruction was not to go and make converts, or church members, or supporters but disciples. A disciple is a learner - someone who is trained, instructed and taught - a person whose goal is to grow every day to be more like Jesus.
We're seeking to help Christians do just that as they discern God's truth in his word, ask for his help in prayer and aim to lead lives that honour him in every way.
Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptising them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.
Matthew 28:19-20 (NIV)
