Leaving a legacy - amending a will

Amending a will

It is possible to add a cash gift in your will to BRF, without having to write an entirely new document. This is called a pecuniary legacy and you can find sample wording for your will in our legacy leaflet.

Another option is a Letter of Wishes, a document that accompanies your will. A Letter of Wishes is an informal letter signed, dated and written by you. It should be addressed to your Executors and kept with your Will. It is not legally binding, but it can be useful to let family and friends know what your personal wishes are.

If you'd like more information about this please feel free to contact us or talk with your solicitor.
