Part-Time Graphic Designer

The Bible Reading Fellowship (BRF) is looking to recruit a part-time graphic designer (2/3 days per week) to join their editorial and design team, initially on a one-year fixed term contract.

The role is based at BRF’s offices in Abingdon, Oxfordshire, and offers an exciting opportunity to provide in-house design for book publications and marketing/publicity materials. It involves laying out text and images in InDesign for conversion to PDF; picture research for book covers and marketing projects; commissioning illustrators; purchasing photographic imagery and agreeing licence details and costings; handling website material; and checking and approving printer proofs.

The successful candidate will be a well-organised and adaptable multi-tasker with proven publishing experience, able to work to tight deadlines and ensure that all projects are kept on schedule. Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite CS6 (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, etc) is essential. Experience of web design and ebooks would be an advantage.

Customer Accounts Coordinator

The Bible Reading Fellowship (BRF) to looking to recruit a full-time Customer Accounts Coordinator to join their Customer Services Team.

The role is based at BRF’s offices in Abingdon, Oxfordshire. The role involves all aspects of customer service including processing orders, dealing with queries and sending our publications and publicity to our customers all over the world.

The Customer Services Team is a busy but friendly environment where our customers are our priority. We are looking for someone who learns quickly, is flexible, knows how to prioritise, and works well in a team.
