Leena Lane is half English and half Finnish and lives with her husband and three children in the south of England. Formerly a teacher of modern languages, Leena worked as a children's book editor for two Christian publishers before combining her writing with full-time motherhood. Leena has had ten books published world-wide to date.

Since graduating from Harrow Art School with a Diploma in Illustration, Gillian Chapman has been designing, writing and illustrating books - over the years she has worked on over 100 titles. She specialises in children's craft books, combining her interest in arts and crafts with her experience of running practical workshops for children. Gillian and her husband Keith moved to the Isle of Wight twelve years ago.
