Unlocking the Bible's Treasures (Wednesday 15 September 2010)
Many Christians have a bit of a complex about the Bible. They feel they ought to read it more and know it better, but when they get into it they find some of it quite nasty, some incredible and some too good to be true. But in fact with a bit of help people often find the Bible is neither as difficult nor as complicated as they'd thought.
This day invites us to spend time with the Scriptures, to reflect on key passages and to listen to what they have to say to us - in St Paul's words, to 'let the word of Christ dwell in you richly'.
Please note that this day is self-catered; tea and coffee will be provided but you will need to bring your own lunch.
