Living and Praying the Lord's Prayer
Although a prayer in its own right, the Lord's Prayer also serves as a pattern and framework for our praying, and a way of exploring the very nature of prayer itself. This book will help readers to see it in a new light, and then prayerfully to reflect upon the insights gained from reading it.
Summary of contents
Chapter 1: The Lord's Prayer in context (its structure; how we pray)

Dr Peter Graves is minister of Wesley Methodist Church, Cambridge, and chaplain to Methodist students at Cambridge University. Internationally known for his preaching and teaching ministry, he has served as minister of some of the largest churches in Methodism, most recently as Superintendent of the Methodist Central Hall in London.
The Lord's Prayer is the best-known piece of liturgy in the world, but few people really understand it or can enter into the riches of its meaning. Peter Graves unpacks this prayer in a very readable and inspiring way so that we can live it and pray it with new integrity.
