The Barnabas Christmas Sticker Book

This is the story of the first Christmas. Read the story, find the correct stickers and use them to complete the illustrations inside the book.

Pull out the frieze in the middle of the book, join both parts together using the tabs and use the remaining stickers to show the birth of Jesus, the baby in the manger, cared for by Mary and Joseph, loved by shepherds and worshipped by the wise men.

Bethan James is a trained primary teacher and former youth worker. She has written a number of books for children and is married with a young family.

The centre pages of the book pull out to provide the stickers and to make a frieze. There are two pages of stickers. One page to complete the pictures that accompany the story and the completed pictures are shown at the back of the book to help with the placing of these stickers. The second page completes the picture of the nativity as shown at the start of the book. With adult help, this book could be fun to use at intervals during the run up to Christmas culminating in the making of the freeze ready for Christmas Day, (ideally ON Christmas Day, but as the mother of four I realise how impracticable that suggestion would be!) but you could add baby Jesus on Christmas morning.
