The Bible Unwrapped - Bible Sunday 2008
To celebrate Bible Sunday 2008, the Bible Reading Fellowship is providing a free resources pack to church leaders to help encourage and kick-start Bible reading initiatives in their churches.
Do you wish you knew your Bible better? The People's Bible Commentary series is a thought-provoking yet accessible way into the Bible. You can buy individual titles to accompany a sermon series on a certain book of the Bible, house group studies or Bible reading notes, or you can purchase a set of titles to cover the Old Testament, New Testament or the entire Bible to provide a reference collection ideal for house group leaders or preachers. For the thinking man or woman in the pew: altogether, a highly recommended series.

Reflection for the week - from
New Daylight
'Have mercy on me, O God, according to your steadfast love; according to your abundant mercy blot out my transgressions. Wash me thoroughly from my iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin. For I know my transgressions, and my sin is ever before me.' Psalm 51:1-3
'When we commit a sin - losing our temper with a family member or failing to stand up for justice in our workplace or telling less than the truth or manipulating someone to get our own way - we usually feel guiltiest about the person or people we have harmed. Yet, Jesus says that every time we fail to care for another, it is God we are abusing or neglecting (Matthew 25:31-46).' Veronica Zundel More information on New Daylight Listen to the BRF prayer
